You Will Need to Pre-Plan Your Trip
Before boarding your pet, there are a few things you will need to do.
Vaccinate. Many facilities, ours included, require your pet to be up-to-date on vaccinations before entering the facility. Our veterinarian will let you know what you need and administer the appropriate vaccines.
Visit. While it is not required that you visit, it is advised to do so. If you can bring your pet along to tour the facilities before boarding, that is even better. Taking a tour will alleviate stress for you and your pet.
Pack. Your facility may provide food, but it is best if you bring your pet’s food instead. Don’t forget to pack your pet’s favorite toys, treats, a bed or blanket, a comfort item (that preferably has your scent on it), and any medication that your pet may need.
