Meet Our Team

Dr. Anitha Gowda was born and raised in India. She moved to the United States in 2000. After graduating from Tuskegee University in 2006, she practiced veterinary medicine in Tampa, Florida for one year and in Michigan for over 5 years before moving to Virginia Beach in 2012. With the dream of having her own place to serve the pets and the community better, Dr. Gowda has become the proud new owner of Boulevard Veterinary Hospital in February 2017. Dr. Gowda believes that good client education is the foundation of any pet’s health. Her special interests are internal medicine, pain management, and wound care. She lives with her husband, her two kids, a furry special cat named Linguini, and a rambunctious Golden Retriever. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her kids, cooking and travelling.
